This is a great opportunity for an experienced field leader ready to bring their capacity for innovation and problem-solving to high-profile, large-scale commercial construction. The Opportunity ?
Superintendent:
Lead field operations to ensure exceptional project delivery for our clients ? Ideal for a candidate who thrives leading both self-performed and contracted work What You'll Be Doing ? Oversee timely, quality installation of contracted work across a project, scope, or trade ? Implement a culture of safety and quality among Moriarty employees and trade contractors; conduct regular safety inspections ? Create and manage plans to sequence work, manage jobsite logistics, and track materials and personnel ? Develop, update, and communicate the project schedule; command critical schedule milestones with all stakeholders ? Manage, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-functioning team ? Maintain working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements ? Participate in close-out activities, including punch list and building operations training What You Bring ???? Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or relevant work experience ???? 5-7 years of experience on construction projects; large-scale commercial experience preferred ???? Experience building high-rise residential, mixed-use, or higher education projects successfully from start to finish ???? 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams of internal/external stakeholders ???? OSHA 30-hour certification or eligibility ???? Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft, and P6 ???? Daily driving distance to the Washington DC Metro area Why This Role ???? Compensation:
