Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Personnel Management:
Supervise and provide leadership to Access Control Officers and Escort personnel Ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain 24/7/365 operations Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance to team members Coordinate shift schedules and ensure proper shift turnover procedures Serve as the primary point of contact between contractor personnel and government representativesSecurity Operations:
Oversee access control operations for personnel, equipment, and media entering/exiting secure facilities Ensure all Access Control Officers conduct proper face-to-identification checks for building access Monitor entry-exit inspections and form validation procedures Verify security clearance and SCI access levels through DISS or Scattered Castles Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Entry/Exit Inspection Program (EEIP)Systems Management:
Oversee operation of Central Monitoring Stations (CMS) including Lenel systems Ensure proper utilization of government-provided security equipment, systems, and databases Conduct equipment and log inventory of government-furnished equipment within 15 minutes of each shift changeDocumentation & Reporting:
Maintain shift logs in accordance with Post and INSCOM Standard Operating Procedures Review and ensure accuracy of journal entries, entry-exit checks, and incident documentation Provide immediate notification of security incidents, emergencies, or life-threatening situations Submit required reports to Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) as scheduled Maintain sign-in sheets for cleared and uncleared visitorsQuality Control:
Implement and maintain Quality Control Plan (QCP) procedures Ensure all personnel present a professional, uniformed appearance Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with contract requirements Address performance deficiencies and implement corrective actionsTraining & Compliance:
Ensure all personnel complete mandatory training requirements including: Information Assurance/Cyber Awareness Training Intelligence Oversight and Civil Liberties Training Operations Security (OPSEC) Training Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I Training Threat Awareness & Reporting Program (TARP) Annual Security Refresher Training Coordinate with government security staff for initial and ongoing training requirementsEmergency Response:
Coordinate immediate response to security breaches, medical emergencies, fire, or other life-threatening situations Ensure proper notification procedures to DA police, local authorities, and emergency services Maintain accountability of all personnel during emergency situationsWorking Conditions:
Schedule:
Access control officers support 24/7/365 operations requiring rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays with the Site Supervisors generally working Monday through Friday, 40hrs per week. Must be available for emergency call-in situations Flexible schedule management to ensure continuous coverageEnvironment:
Work performed in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) May require frequent exposure to outdoor and non-standard terrain Professional office environment with security protocolsREQUIRED TRAINING

U.S. Citizen Minimum 25 years of ageSecurity Clearance:
Active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance Must maintain clearance for the life of the contract Must be eligible for indoctrination to the SCI levelEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)Experience:
Minimum 4 years' experience as an Access Control Officer utilizing security systems such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Minimum 2 years' experience as an Access Control Supervisor Certifications (Required): Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Current Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certificationPhysical Requirements:
