Superintendent:
Lead all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through closeout Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Manage project schedules and drive progress to meet key milestones Maintain strong communication with ownership, clients, and project stakeholders Review and interpret construction documents, plans, specifications, and shop drawings Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance requirements are met Monitor renovation, restoration, and addition work to ensure project objectives are achieved Enforce OSHA safety standards and lead regular safety meetings and toolbox talks Identify and resolve field issues while minimizing project delays Track project progress, document site conditions, and maintain accurate field reporting Assist with punch list management, project turnover, and closeout procedures Support and mentor field staff, foremen, and craft personnel MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A successful superintendent should have: 5+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects Experience with additions, renovations, and historic restoration projects Loudoun County project experience preferred Strong employment tenure and career progression through field operations Experience working for established general contractors preferred Ability to manage clients and maintain strong stakeholder relationships OSHA 30 certification required First Aid and CPR certifications preferred Ability to obtain security clearance Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred What's on
Offer Base Salary:
