Job Description The Superintendent will be responsible for: Leading all onsite construction activities for a complex historic renovation and addition project. Managing day-to-day field operations, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics. Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners. Monitoring project schedules and drive on-time completion of key milestones. Coordinating inspections, permitting requirements, and project documentation. Resolving field challenges proactively to keep the project on track. Delivering a successful project outcome while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: 5+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction. Proven experience delivering renovation, addition, or historic restoration projects. Experience managing projects valued up to $10M preferred. Prior project experience in Loudoun County or the Northern Virginia market is advantageous. Stable career history demonstrating strong tenure with reputable general contractors. Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills. Preference for candidates who have progressed through field operations and construction ranks. Ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage multiple project priorities.
