Job Description
We are a small-medium size general contractor that does only commercial work in the DC, MD and Northern VA areas. Our work comes primarily from repeat and referral business through us having a good relationship with our clients. We do mostly interior work so we stay busy throughout the year. We often self perform work if the jobs are smaller. We are looking to hire a few experienced superintendents who live within the DC Metro area, with no less than 7 years experience in commercial construction . Must be technological savy and can use multiple types of devices and apps/software to communicate about projects. Must know how to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP plans; must understand schedules and strive to finish early on projects; must enter daily job reports and pictures; schedule and meet with inspectors; be able to do material take offs; layout and check layout of subcontractors on projects, and have a positive team attitude. Have basic tools to do work on site when needed such as drywall, framing, carpentry, installing doors, frames, hardware, toilet accessories, ceiling grid and tile. Must be fluent in English and have good communication skills through email, phone and text. Must be proficient with email, and able to learn other computer apps as needed for project communication. '
