Job Description
Tally Oaks Veterinary Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our small animal practice in the Purcellville, Virginia area. We offer a supportive, patient-focused environment where veterinary team members can provide attentive care without the pace and pressure of a high-volume practice. Our approach emphasizes compassionate patient handling, preventive care, client education, and individualized veterinary medicine. Team members have the opportunity to support a variety of services while working in a calm setting designed to reduce stress for both patients and their owners.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Part-time or full-time Weekday schedule Approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No regular after-hours emergency shifts Approximately 8-10 appointments per dayWHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures. Perform venipuncture and catheter placement. Monitor patients during anesthesia. Assist with dental cleanings and related procedures. Perform radiography and laboratory work. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment information. Educate clients regarding patient care, wellness, and treatment recommendations. Provide compassionate, low-stress handling and care for patients. Work collaboratively with veterinarians and other members of the veterinary team.QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of veterinary technician experience preferred. Veterinary Technician certification or licensure is valued. Strong technical and patient-care skills. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and client education skills. Compassionate approach to animal care. Interest in Fear Free handling and low-stress patient care. Motivated, dependable, and committed to providing high-quality veterinary care.
