Position:
Assistant Construction Superintendent Location:
Richmond, VA Job Summary:
As an Assistant Construction Superintendent, you will manage day-to-day operations at construction sites and ensure project schedules are maintained. Your leadership skills and experience in construction subcontractor management, cost monitoring, scheduling, and problem-solving will be critical to project success.

Responsibilities :
Ensure strict adherence to all Company safety rules, regulations, and policies. Supervise, direct, and coordinate trade workers and subcontractors. Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders. Oversee field installation using Shop and Spool Drawings. Inspect work for conformance with specifications. Enforce predictive reporting, 5X5 audits, and pretask plans. Schedule material and equipment deliveries in line with project timelines. Attend project meetings and complete daily reports. Teach and guide teammates to ensure safety and productivity. Provide recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, and discipline.
Qualifications :
Mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills. Journeyman-level experience in HVAC, plumbing, or construction management. Supervisory experience required. Extensive knowledge of International Building Codes, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency with technology:
laptops, tablets, smartphones, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM. Ability to read project documents in English. EOE M/W/Disability/Vets
