Vienna, VA based Architecture & Interiors Firm is looking for a Director of Architecture to lead our production studio. With a 31 year history in various types of commercial projects we have created a solid and loyal base of clients primarily in corporate office, secure environments, spec offices, and federal and local government projects, among others. We pride ourselves on the quality of our documents and in creating a learning environment for our colleagues. This is also a great opportunity for the candidate to mentor our younger staff toward Architectural licensure and Interior Design certification. Qualified candidates must have VA, MD, and DC Architectural registration, and a current LEED AP status is preferred. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience with design development, construction documents, construction administration, project management, detailing, and production in an AutoCAD environment is required. Candidates must be able to interact with and manage expectations of our clients, manage consultants, coordinate our A&E documents, and coordinate our internal scheduling and resource allocation for multiple concurrent projects. Working knowledge of current building and related codes is a must for this position.
