Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries. Ensure the job site is compliant with all safety regulations and company policies. Perform daily inspections of the job site to monitor progress and identify potential issues. Communicate effectively with the project team, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates and resolve any challenges. Assist in the management of project documentation, including daily reports, time sheets, and safety logs. Work closely with the project team to ensure quality control and proper sequencing of tasks. Identify potential risks or delays and work proactively to mitigate issues. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant superintendent role. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. OSHA 30 certification (preferred) or willing to obtain within 6 months. A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.
