Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical multi-family projects from inception to completion. This vital role involves managing on-site electrical activities, coordinating with project teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction site experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and construction management software. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring all work adheres to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop detailed schedules. Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, and lighting, ensuring compliance with blueprints and schematics. Monitor progress daily, troubleshoot issues promptly, and adjust schedules as needed to maintain project momentum. Conduct regular safety inspections in accordance with OSHA regulations; enforce safety protocols and conduct toolbox talks. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication across teams. Ensure accurate reading of blueprints and schematics. Manage procurement of materials + coordinate delivery schedules to prevent delays. Supervise subcontractors' work to ensure it meets specifications; oversee quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle. Skills Extensive construction site experience with a focus on electrical systems installation for multi-family jobs. Proven management skills with supervising experience leading electrical crews or teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore. Deep understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints reading, and construction estimating techniques. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety compliance. Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics; proficient in using testing equipment like ohmmeters for circuit verification. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members. Knowledge of contracts management and budgeting processes within large-scale construction projects. $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
