A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.

Job Description
What You'll Do Pre-Construction:
Participate actively in pre-construction planning, estimating, and client-required meetings. Offer project-specific insights on potential scopes, suppliers, and risks before work begins. Study and fully understand client contracts, drawings, and specifications before mobilization.Project Start-Up and Administration:
Establish project administrative organization and maintain all project records and correspondence. Confirm budget, schedule, and scope alignment across the project team at startup. Manage and direct the Project Management Assistant and site personnel to ensure efficient and productive operations from day one.Schedule and Budget Management:
Draft and maintain weekly three-week lookahead schedules and update master schedules monthly. Monitor project budgets continuously, prepare cost and progress tracking reports for management, and submit budget estimates for project changes promptly. Oversee contract production, change orders, submittals, and procurement to keep projects on time and within budget.Client and Stakeholder Relations:
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, engineering firms, local authorities, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. Serve as the primary liaison between leadership, clients, and the project team, fostering lasting relationships that reflect the company's core values.Safety and Compliance:
Ensure full adherence to safety, state, and local regulations on every project. Provide active safety leadership on site, not just compliance oversight.Financial Coordination and Closeout:
Work with AP/AR to facilitate subcontractor and supplier payments and client billings. Oversee project closeout processes including company-wide closeout tracking to ensure timely and complete delivery. What We're Looking For 5 or more years of project management experience in civil or site construction. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, not required for candidates with strong field and PM experience. Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, civil drawings, specifications, and local, state, and federal safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and commercial discipline. Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams. A self-starter who manages priorities independently and holds themselves and their team accountable for outcomes. You Might Be aGreat Fit If You Are:
