Job Description

Location:
Camas, WA /
Portland Metro Company:
Amplified Renovations, Corp Employment Type:
Full-Time Compensation:
$90,000-$120,000 base DOE + performance incentives, with total compensation potential up to $150,000 for top-performing PMs About Amplified Renovations, Corp Amplified Renovations, Corp is a fast-growing design-build residential remodeling company serving homeowners throughout Southwest Washington and the Portland Metro area. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and whole-home renovations, with a strong emphasis on communication, craftsmanship, and predictable project delivery. We are building a modern remodeling company focused on operational excellence, strong client experience, and long-term growth. Our team values accountability, professionalism, practical problem-solving, and people who own outcomes. Position Overview The Senior PM is a leadership role responsible for leading the execution phase of residential remodeling projects from post-sale handoff through final completion. This role reports directly to Amplified's Owner/GM and owns the day-to-day operational success of projects, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, material procurement, client communication, change order execution, and project closeout. PMs typically manage 3-4 active projects concurrently, representing approximately $300,000-$400,000 in combined job value at any given time. Actual workload varies based on project complexity, phase overlap, and scope. Before execution, PMs work alongside Pre-Construction on select projects, contributing to floor plans, permit documentation, and design coordination. PMs receive a signed scope of work with pricing already attached, but many items remain TBD pending final selections, field verification, or design decisions; closing that gap is part of the job, done in parallel with running the schedule, coordinating subs, and keeping the project moving. On select projects, this includes coordinating directly with third-party designers. Once in execution, the PM steers the job day-to-day: sequencing trades, keeping materials on schedule, catching problems on site before they become delays, and keeping the client informed at every stage.
This role carries real accountability:
schedule slips, budget overruns, and client escalations are the PM's problem to solve, not someone else's to catch. This is a senior-level, high-ownership role with significant responsibility and visibility inside the company; created to set the standard for how projects are run at Amplified. The Senior PM leads by example in the field and with clients, plays a direct role in refining and scaling the processes, tools, and systems the broader PM team relies on as the company grows, and brings the traits that define success here: proactive communication, decisive problem-solving, organized execution, and the ability to keep projects moving while maintaining a high standard of client experience. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Scheduling Take ownership of project schedules following handoff from pre-construction Refine and manage detailed construction schedules and sequencing Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and project milestones Identify and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or operational bottlenecks Maintain momentum across multiple active projects simultaneously Subcontractor & Field Coordination Schedule, coordinate, and manage subcontractors throughout project execution Clearly communicate scope, expectations, schedules, and jobsite requirements Ensure work meets company quality standards and passes inspections Resolve jobsite issues quickly, professionally, and practically Maintain accountability across trades while preserving strong working relationships Materials & Procurement Coordinate material ordering and delivery schedules Work closely with the Operations Coordinator on purchasing and tracking Ensure materials arrive correctly and on schedule to avoid project delays Anticipate long-lead items and proactively manage procurement timelines Budget & Change Order Management Maintain strong awareness of project budgets and margin performance during construction Identify scope changes and cost impacts early Prepare and execute change orders through Houzz Communicate financial impacts clearly and professionally with clients Protect project profitability while maintaining client trust and transparency Client Communication Serve as the primary client point of contact during construction Provide consistent updates on project progress, scheduling, and upcoming work Set expectations clearly and proactively throughout the project lifecycle Handle challenges calmly, professionally, and in a solution-oriented way Deliver a high-touch client experience that reflects the Amplified brand Project Closeout Coordinate punch lists, final walkthroughs, inspections, and project closeout Ensure projects are delivered cleanly and professionally Maintain organized project documentation and closeout details Support a strong final client experience that drives referrals and repeat business Leadership & Process Development Serve as a senior point of reference for other Project Managers, offering guidance on complex scheduling, sub coordination, and client situations Help identify and implement process improvements across scheduling, procurement, and project documentation as the company scales Model the standard of communication, accountability, and execution expected of the PM team Partner with the Owner/GM on operational initiatives beyond individual project execution Team Flexibility & Operational Leadership This role requires a hands-on mindset. PMs are expected to step onto the jobsite to resolve issues in real time, coordinate deliveries and inspections directly, and fill operational gaps to protect the schedule and client experience when needed. This is not a labor role, but it is not purely a desk role either. What Success Looks Like Projects stay on schedule and within budget targets Projects are scheduled within 48 hours of handoff Clients feel informed, confident, and well-supported throughout construction Subcontractors are coordinated, productive, and accountable Problems are solved proactively with minimal escalation Projects close cleanly with strong client satisfaction and referral potential Qualifications Required 7+ years of progressive experience managing residential construction or remodeling projects Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and jobsite logistics Experience coordinating subcontractors and material procurement Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong problem-solving ability and operational awareness Comfort using project management and budgeting software (Houzz experience is a plus) Preferred Design-build or remodeling experience Experience operating within a growing company Strong documentation and scheduling habits Leadership mindset with accountability and ownership Familiarity with residential remodeling client management Experience developing or improving operational processes within a construction or remodeling company Why Join Amplified Renovations, Corp We are building a modern residential remodeling company focused on doing things the right way, operationally, financially, and from a client experience perspective.
