The successful candidate will need to be a team player that has experience in all aspects of civil construction management including earthwork and underground utilities. Applicant should feel comfortable in a demanding and fast paced environment with a wide scope of work, while maintaining multiple tasks. Projects range from 25k to 10+ million.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and control labor and work crews engaged in activities concerned with the civil construction, includes determining method of construction, optimizing manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and document actual hours worked. Provide quality control; assuring conformity to plans and specifications; maintaining sequences to meet schedule; maintaining short and long-term production schedules; conducting weekly job site coordination and safety meetings. Able to demonstrate good organizational skills, following safety policies & procedures and construction work practices. Ability to read, interpret and follow procedures, specifications, drawings, and other disciplines. Ensure crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials. Prevent waste and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.

Qualifications :

5+ years experience in grading operations, road projects, sewer, storm and water, and general civil infrastructure construction methods. Strong leadership, communication and inter-personal skills. Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, able to read plans, and ability to control and supervise large groups essential.
