Job Description Klickitat Public Utility District seeks an RNG Site Supervisor/Superintendent to lead daily operations at renewable natural gas and related utility sites in Klickitat County. This role oversees field crews and contractors, ensuring safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and reliable facility performance. You will coordinate construction, maintenance, and repairs; monitor plant operations; manage materials and vendors; and collaborate with engineering and operations on improvements. The position is field-based, community-focused, and central to supporting Klickitat PUD's mission of reliable, sustainable energy and infrastructure for local residents and businesses. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of RNG facilities and related utility infrastructure Supervise field crews and contractors to ensure safe, efficient work practices Coordinate construction, maintenance, and repair activities for RNG and utility systems Monitor plant performance, reliability, and compliance with environmental and safety standards Develop and maintain work schedules, job plans, and project documentation Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and incident investigations Collaborate with engineering, operations, and planning teams on upgrades and improvements Manage materials, equipment, and vendors to support field and plant activities Train, mentor, and evaluate staff in procedures, safety, and technical skills Support emergency response, outage restoration, and on-call coverage as needed Required Skills RNG or gas plant operations Utility or industrial construction management Safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, environmental) Field crew supervision and scheduling Reading technical drawings and site plans SCADA and plant monitoring systems Budgeting and cost control for projects Contractor and vendor management Root cause analysis and troubleshooting Emergency response and outage coordination
