Project Manager Position Overview:
Jackson Design Build is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the best possible remodeling experience for our clients, performing as an effective leader to the production team, as well as ensuring the profitability of the job.
What You'll Do:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES
Maintain a work environment that brings out the best in yourself and other employees and that uses time as efficiently as possible while working with professionalism, positive attitude, pride in craftsmanship and upholding all JDB core values. Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly to clients and all trades. Utilized SWAT (Specific, Written, Accurate, and Timely) Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information. Participate in personal development activities that improve task related skills and professional growth.
PROJECT SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret plans, specifications and all other related construction documents. Attend and participate in Project Handoff, Pre-Construction, Completion list and weekly Client and Production Meetings. Organize progress of Trade Partners on each assigned project Manage material flow to the job Schedule trades
  • Update Buildertrend schedule and daily logs as needed.
  • Review job cost reports with Construction Manager and manage project to keep them on time and on budget.
  • Manage in-house labor as needed.
  • Be aware of inventory for assigned projects, store unused items such that they may be returned without damage.
Duties:
Maintain complete client satisfaction Maintain communication with clients Communicate regularly with JDB team Maintain high quality craftsmanship, accurate, thorough, and timely preparation of work and clear comprehension of all aspects of the project Know and understand all project documents Maintain and update project schedule in the Buildertrend program daily. Efficient and profitable use of the company's time, manpower and materials on each project Create materials list and order with ample lead time for delivery Check materials delivered for accuracy in quantity, measurement, and quality Schedule and supervise inspections Supervise Carpenters on your job sites Schedule and supervise Trade Contractors on your job sites and ensure adherence to the Trade Contractors proposal Communicate client change orders to the Construction Manager prior to execution Maintain a secure job site Maintain necessary tools, safety equipment, and vehicle Manage all safety protocols on each jobsite Attend all Preconstruction and Company meetings as requested Maintain job site organization, dust control, and cleanliness daily Maintain a professional company image through neat appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication Do you meet the following qualifications? 5+ years of remodeling experience Affective leadership skills Detail oriented Computer proficient , including Microsoft Office & Outlook Personable Professional phone and email etiquette Excellent listener Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Team-oriented Punctual Experience with Buildertrend, Asana or similar project management software preferred
