Job Description

Soundview Restoration (SVR) — Seattle / North Puget Sound Full-Time | Competitive Base + Performance Pay About Us Soundview Restoration is a fast-growing restoration company serving the Greater Seattle area. We specialize in water damage mitigation and are building a high-performance reconstruction division to take projects from emergency response through full rebuild. We're not a slow corporate environment—we're building something lean, fast, and profitable. If you know how to manage reconstruction jobs, deal with insurance, and keep projects moving without babysitting subs, you'll do very well here. Role Overview You will own reconstruction projects from approved scope to final completion. This is not a "paper PM" role.
You are responsible for:
Job profitability Timeline execution Subcontractor performance Client + adjuster communication You are the operator making sure jobs get done on time, on budget, and cleanly documented for payment. Key Responsibilities Project Execution Manage residential & light commercial reconstruction projects (post-mitigation) Review scopes (Xactimate or equivalent) and build accurate rebuild plans Schedule and coordinate all trades (demo, framing, drywall, flooring, paint, etc.) Maintain tight production timelines and hit deadlines Subcontractor Management Source, onboard, and manage subcontractors Hold subs accountable for quality, speed, and scope compliance Negotiate pricing and protect margins Insurance & Documentation Work with insurance adjusters to align on scope and supplements Identify missed line items and drive supplements where justified Ensure clean documentation for invoicing and collections Client Experience Communicate clearly with homeowners/property managers Set expectations and keep projects moving without friction Handle issues professionally without letting jobs stall Financial Accountability Track job costs vs. budget Maintain strong gross margins on every project Assist with billing and collections as needed
Compensation Structure Base Salary:
$70,000 - $95,000 (depending on experience)
Performance Pay:
5-10% of project gross profit High performers realistically earn $100K-$140K+ What We're Looking For Required Experience 3+ years in reconstruction or restoration project management Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing Preferred Experience with Xactimate and insurance claims Restoration industry background (water/fire rebuilds) Existing subcontractor relationships in the Seattle area Core Traits Moves fast and solves problems without waiting for direction Holds subs accountable (doesn't get pushed around) Understands margins—not just "getting the job done" Communicates clearly and professionally What Makes This Role Different No corporate red tape Real performance-based upside Tight integration with a growing mitigation pipeline (steady work) Opportunity to help build and shape the reconstruction division Tools & Support Consistent job flow from mitigation team Estimating support (as needed) Systems for documentation, communication, and tracking Leadership that understands restoration—not just "management" How to Apply Send your resume and a short note explaining: The size and type of projects you've managed Your experience with insurance-related reconstruction What kind of volume and income you're aiming for
