Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Manager, where your leadership and expertise will drive the successful delivery of complex projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your proactive management and coordination skills will be essential in fostering seamless communication among teams, clients, and subcontractors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects and contribute to building environments that stand the test of time. Duties Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely delivery. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, blueprints, schematics, and contract specifications. Manage subcontractors and vendors, negotiating contracts and overseeing their work quality and adherence to project timelines. Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost forecasts and budgets. Review blueprints, schematics, and civil drawings such as Civil 3D files to interpret project requirements clearly. Monitor project progress through regular site inspections and adjust schedules or resources as needed for optimal performance. Implement construction management software for tracking project milestones, documentation, and communication. Facilitate effective project coordination among stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and maintain momentum. Ensure all construction activities align with safety standards, environmental regulations, and client expectations. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in construction site operations. Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and construction management software platforms. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and civil engineering drawings like Civil 3D files. Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes using HeavyBid or comparable software. Familiarity with project management principles including project coordination, time management, and resource allocation. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to interpret technical documents such as schematics and blueprints accurately. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
