Position Summary STS Technical Services is seeking a Deployment & PMO Specialist to support Defense Programs operations. This role sits at the center of execution. Not strategy. Execution. You will coordinate deployments for Field Service Representatives and technical personnel, maintain PMO tracking systems, and conduct country-level research that directly impacts how and where we operate. If timelines slip, you will know why. If requirements change, you will catch it early. This is a detail-heavy role inside a fast-moving environment. Core Responsibilities Deployment & Mobilization Coordinate deployment activities for CONUS and OCONUS personnel Manage readiness requirements including travel, medical screenings, work authorizations, and site access Track deployment timelines and ensure on-time mobilization Serve as primary point of contact during deployment execution PMO Operations & Reporting Maintain program trackers including headcount, deployment status, and timelines Monitor candidate progress from offer through full deployment Generate and distribute internal and client-facing reports Ensure accuracy and consistency across systems and documentation Support audit readiness through structured recordkeeping Country Research & Deployment Planning Research country-specific deployment requirements, including: Entry requirements such as visas, work permits, and passport guidelines Medical and vaccination requirements Site and base access considerations Local regulations impacting workforce logistics Travel restrictions and operational constraints Compile and maintain standardized country profiles for internal use Provide clear summaries to support proposal development and deployment planning Identify risks and constraints early in the process Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with Recruiting, Compliance and HR, and Contractor Care teams Ensure smooth transition from candidate selection through deployment Maintain alignment across teams to support program timelines Issue Management & Process Improvement Identify and escalate risks or delays with recommended solutions Track and drive resolution of deployment-related issues Support development of standardized processes, checklists, and workflows Contribute to continuous improvement across PMO operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of staffing, administrative, or operations experience Experience supporting defense, government, or international programs preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and summarize complex information Strong communication and coordination skills Experience with CRM systems, tracking tools, or VMS platforms preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Key Competencies High attention to detail and accuracy Strong time management and deadline discipline Problem-solving ability in dynamic environments Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Essential Functions Coordinate end-to-end deployment activities for CONUS and OCONUS personnel Manage deployment readiness requirements across travel, compliance, and access Track timelines and ensure execution aligns with program schedules Maintain accurate program tracking and reporting systems Conduct and maintain country-specific deployment research Collaborate across internal teams to ensure continuity from hire to deployment Identify, escalate, and resolve deployment risks and issues Support ongoing development of PMO processes and operational workflows Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer Classification Exempt Full-Time Salaried Position About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is the staffing and workforce solutions arm of STS Aviation Group, one of the largest independent aviation services companies in the world.
