Position Overview We are seeking an HVAC Project Coordinator to manage mechanical construction projects from handoff through closeout. This role is responsible for schedule coordination, cost control, field coordination, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget. This is a non-union environment with opportunities for growth in a performance-driven, fast-paced organization. Responsibilities Manage HVAC construction projects from pre-construction handoff through project closeout. Track and maintain project schedules, material movement and labor. Coordinate with internal engineering and design teams on design-build and design-assist projects. Prepare and receive project permits. Prepare, and manage change orders. Coordinate field supervision and internal resources to support project execution. Organize and maintain project folders and operational Software (BuildOps). Serve as a point of contact for owners, general contractors, architects, and engineers. Manage submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation. Support inspections, testing, balancing, and commissioning activities. Required Qualifications 1-5 years of construction project coordination experience in HVAC, mechanical, or related trades. Experience managing projects in the $1M-$10M+ range. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project, or similar). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical construction practices. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience with multi-family, commercial, K-12, municipal, or hospitality projects. Experience with public-sector and prevailing wage projects. Design-build or design-assist experience. PMP, LEED, or similar certifications (a plus, not required). Travel & Work Environment Based out of our Grafton, WI office. Supports projects in the Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay metro areas.
