Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team! The basic function of the Project Coordinator is: Supports Management / Other Support Staff in planning and executing the projects for local construction company. The Project Coordinator works closely with the Management, Foremen and other team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, according to specs and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Assist and support Management with planning and organizing the projects, including overseeing project submittals, executing quotes & subcontracts, ordering materials and preliminary scheduling of suppliers and subcontractors. Developing project schedules and timelines. Coordinating project activities and ensuring that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines. Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks and issues. Communicating project status to Managers and team members. Assisting with inspections of work sites to ensure that work is progressing according to schedule and that the quality of the work meets the project requirements. Assisting in the preparation of project reports and presentations. Managing project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and change requests. Supporting Management in resource allocation and budget management. Participating in project meetings and providing input on project decisions.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields Familiarity with construction management software Strong leadership qualities Deadline and detail-oriented Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work well under pressure. Experience with project management tools and methodologies, as well as a strong understanding of project management principles. Project estimating knowledge. AutoCAD experience for GPS related uses. GPS survey and construction staking. Experience with bidding and take-off procedures. InSite Earthwork, InEight Estimate preferred (company specific software).
Pay:
$1,300.00 - $1,500.00 per week
