The After-School Kohler Kare Lead Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the after-school program, serving students in Junior Kindergarten through 5th grade. This role provides direct supervision, leads engaging activities, and ensures a safe, structured, and positive environment. The Lead Supervisor serves as the primary on-site staff member and maintains consistent communication with the Director regarding attendance, student needs, and daily program operations. 15-20 hours per week. High school diploma or equivalent required; education or coursework in education, child development, or a related field preferred Previous experience working with elementary-aged children Demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to supervise and provide direction to program staff Dependable, professional, and able to work independently Strong communication skills with students, families, school staff, and administration Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate activities Confident managing student behavior in a positive, consistent manner Committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment Available Monday through Friday during after-school program hours Ability to respond calmly and appropriately to injuries, emergencies, and unexpected situations Ability to remain active throughout the shift and participate in indoor and outdoor activities Willingness to complete required background checks and training CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
