Job Description

Job Summary Reputable, stable, commercial construction company, with over 50 years of experience, specializing in new building construction, including tenant build outs, design builds, and remodels, for a vast array of multimillion dollar construction projects, has an opportunity for you to contribute to the strategic growth of our organization. Reporting to the president, the project manager, will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects, managing resources, schedules and budgets, communicating clearly with clients, contractors and vendors, ensuring all facets of the projects stay on track, while adhering to risk management, compliance as well as safety and quality regulations. Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project workflows. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project scope and technical accuracy. Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, bid evaluations using HeavyBid or comparable software, and contract negotiations. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, communication, and tracking project milestones. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with plans and specifications; address issues promptly to minimize delays. Facilitate effective project coordination by managing time management strategies and prioritizing tasks efficiently. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date for audit purposes and stakeholder reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or heavy civil projects; site experience is essential. Proficiency in industry-standard construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other project scheduling tools. Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for complex projects. Knowledge of contracts management and negotiation processes within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques and cost control measures. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels. Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety certification or PMP (Project Management Professional) are preferred, We are an equal employment company, with a drug-free workplace. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
