Superintendent -
Multifamily ConstructionLocation:
Madison, WICompensation:
$110,000 - $130,000 Base Salary + BenefitsBuild the Communities Shaping Dane CountyA well-established and growing general contractor/developer in the Madison market is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team. This position will oversee the construction of multifamily apartment projects throughout Dane County, with occasional commercial and mixed-use developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a field leader who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working alongside strong project management teams, and helping deliver high-quality residential communities from groundbreaking through turnover.

What You'll DoLead all on-site construction activities for multifamily and commercial projects.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and daily field operations.

Drive project schedules and maintain production milestones.

Enforce safety standards and ensure a clean, organized jobsite.

Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch list completion.

Coordinate with project managers, owners, architects, and municipal inspectors.

Manage site logistics, documentation, and reporting requirements.

Identify and proactively resolve field issues to keep projects moving forward.

What We're Looking For5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial or multifamily construction.

Experience with apartment, mixed-use, senior living, hospitality, or commercial projects preferred.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site safety.

Proven ability to lead subcontractors and maintain project momentum.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ability to manage multiple phases of construction while maintaining quality and schedule expectations.
