Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Site Foreman/Operator to lead construction activities on large-scale infrastructure projects. This role combines hands-on equipment operation with site supervision, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors. You will be instrumental in maintaining project schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and specialized pipeline tools to facilitate construction activities. Supervise daily site operations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and schematics. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction efforts accurately. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure adherence to safety standards outlined by OSHA regulations. Maintain detailed records of work progress, safety incidents, equipment usage, and material inventories using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam. Assist in project scheduling using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid software to optimize resource allocation and timeline management. Requirements Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in civil infrastructure projects such as pipelines or large-scale developments. Demonstrated proficiency in operating heavy machinery and equipment relevant to civil construction projects. Knowledge of construction management practices including budgeting, scheduling, contracts management, and quality control processes. Familiarity with construction management software like Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; experience with construction estimating is a plus. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards along with practical experience implementing safety protocols on-site. Supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safe work environment. Excellent communication skills for coordinating between different teams and managing project documentation efficiently.
