Job Summary:
RDR is seeking a Water Transfer Construction Superintendent to round out the Utility Line Repair and Maintenance Division. Superintendent will report to the division manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the project oversight and scheduling as well as resource and material coordination. Manage and push production across multiple crews. Supervise and direct daily duties for foreman and leads. Assign daily tasks and coach and discipline crew members as necessary. Coordinate activities across multiple crews and adjust timelines for delays or change orders. Monitor project expenditures to stay within the established construction budget. Complete and submit work orders for invoicing. Advertise and sell work to potential customers. Build and maintain relationships with vendors. Attend bid meetings. Assist with interviews and mentor new crew members including laborers and specialized subcontractors to ensure adherence to processes and policies. Schedule equipment services and maintenance. Order and track material and equipment inventory to prevent workflow interruptions. Ensure safety and compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and other local health and safety regulations at all times. Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations to prevent injuries and maintain a secure environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualification:
2-5 years of foreman or managing experience Experience fusing HDPE and installation of environmental controls Strong background in water transfer construction
