Modern office setting Snacks provided Relaxed atmosphere Flexible working hours Safe work environment Duties Perform thorough termite and wood-destroying organism (WDO) inspections at residential and commercial properties Inspect structures for evidence of subterranean termites, drywood termites, wood-destroying organisms, wood damage, moisture conditions, and other conducive conditions Identify the type, location, and extent of termite activity or damage Prepare accurate inspection findings, reports, diagrams, estimates, and treatment recommendations Clearly explain inspection findings and recommended treatment options to customers Provide quotes for termite treatments, localized treatments, fumigations, wood repairs, and other corrective services as applicable Identify areas requiring further inspection or access Coordinate with office staff and termite technicians regarding recommended work and scheduling Maintain accurate records of inspections, recommendations, estimates, and customer communications Follow all company procedures and applicable California Structural Pest Control Board requirements Perform termite treatments as needed, including localized treatments, drilling and injection, soil treatments, foam applications, and other approved treatment methods Assist with or perform termite-related wood repairs, including removal and replacement of damaged wood and other minor structural repairs, depending on experience and job requirements Experience Previous termite inspection and treatment experience is strongly preferred Experience performing termite-related wood repairs is a plus Knowledge of termite identification, wood-destroying organisms, structural conditions, and termite treatment methods Ability to recognize termite activity, termite damage, moisture issues, fungus/dry rot, and conducive conditions Experience preparing termite inspection reports, diagrams, estimates, and treatment recommendations is preferred Familiarity with hand tools and power tools and the ability to perform minor wood repairs Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain findings and recommendations Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection findings Comfortable entering attics, crawlspaces, subareas, and other confined areas as necessary Ability to use ladders, scaffolding, flashlights, hand tools, power tools, moisture meters, and other inspection and treatment equipment Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record A valid California Branch 3 Field Representative or Operator license is
