NV5, Inc. is seeking qualified ICC and/or CWI Inspectors to provide inspection services for projects in Southern California and a large project in Campo, CA. Must have experience providing inspections for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. Experience with California adopted codes preferred. Project locations and durations vary by assignment. Responsibilities Perform QC/QA inspections to verify construction is completed in adherence with approved codes, laws ordinances, regulations and standards Verify that construction complies with approved plans and calculations Read, research, and objectively interpret code requirements Maintain clear, concise and comprehensive records related to inspection activities Review complex engineering documents to ensure construction compliance Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients through participation in project meetings and daily site interaction. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Education/Qualifications:

Requirement for Special Inspector and/or Field Technician vary depending on the type of work to be performed. Familiar with California Building Code and ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI standards for testing and inspections. Must be a motivated individual who can follow direction. Prepare daily reports for submission to QC Manager. A valid Driver's license Excellent written and verbal skills.

Certifications/Licenses Must have:

ACI, ICC, CWI

The pay range for this California position is $40- $50 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
