RANCHO WATER IS SEEKING A CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR I/II
Rancho California Water District is accepting applications to fill a Construction Inspector position. This position will be filled at either the Construction Inspector I level or Construction Inspector II level. The District... The District proudly serves a dynamic and growing region of 160,000 residents across 100,000 acres, including Temecula, Murrieta, and surrounding communities. The District is well resourced and uniquely positioned to leverage a diverse operating portfolio consisting of a thriving Groundwater Basin, Treated and Untreated Import Supply, as well as administering the Santa Rosa Regional Resource Authority regionally managing wastewater in partnership with other agencies. The Ideal Candidate... The ideal candidate for this Construction Inspector role is a knowledgeable and safety-focused professional with a strong foundation in public works or utility construction. They understand construction terminology, can read and interpret plans and specifications, and are familiar with water distribution and collection system design. They excel at observing, coordinating, and documenting construction activities, producing accurate daily reports, maintaining up-to-date as-built drawings, and ensuring all work meets district standards and specifications. Their technical skills include proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and they are capable of directing required testing. Additionally, the ideal candidate consistently demonstrates sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills in interactions with contractors, coworkers, and management. They prioritize safety and comply with all State, County, Health, and Environmental policies. Approach to work...
