Job Summary:
The Inspector I is responsible for performing field inspections of broadband and telecommunications construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This entry-level inspection role supports project quality and progress tracking while reporting findings to the project management team. What You Get to Do (Duties/Responsibilities):
  • Conduct site inspections of fiber, fixed wireless, and other broadband infrastructure builds.
  • Verify compliance with engineering plans, construction specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Document inspection results, noting defects, deviations, or safety concerns.
  • Coordinate with field crews, contractors, and project managers to resolve issues identified during inspections.
  • Maintain accurate logs, photographs, and reports of inspection activities.
  • Assist in reviewing permits, as-built documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Report operational or safety issues promptly to supervisors. What We Are Searching For (Required Skills/Abilities):
  • Knowledge of broadband construction practices, safety regulations, and basic network infrastructure are desirable. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in the field, often outdoors, under varying conditions.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar reporting tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
Education/Certifications/Experience:
1-3 years of experience in construction inspection, telecom, or related technical field preferred.
Work Environment & Expectations:
Fieldwork required; exposure to construction sites, vehicles, and varied weather conditions. Safety gear and adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols mandatory. Reports regularly to Project Managers or Senior Inspectors on inspection progress. What's In It for You?

Additional Details:
At a minimum, background checks, education verification, employment verification, and drug screens will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.
