Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant Construction Position Summary The Owner's Representative Civil Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and documenting all civil and structural construction activities on behalf of the project owner to ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, applicable codes, quality standards, and safety requirements. The inspector serves as the owner's field representative, verifying that construction is performed in accordance with contract requirements while protecting the owner's interests throughout the project lifecycle. This position works closely with EPC contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, commissioning personnel, and the owner's project management team to ensure high-quality execution of all civil works. Key Responsibilities Construction Oversight Represent the owner during all civil construction activities. Monitor contractor performance for compliance with project specifications, drawings, schedules, and quality requirements. Verify construction activities are completed according to approved IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings. Observe daily work activities and identify deviations from project requirements. Ensure construction practices meet applicable building codes and industry standards.

Witness field testing including:

Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent with significant relevant experience considered. Minimum 7-10 years of civil inspection experience on large industrial construction projects. Minimum 3-5 years of experience on power generation, energy, petrochemical, refinery, LNG, or heavy industrial projects. Experience working as an Owner's Representative is strongly preferred.
