Employees in this class are responsible for ensuring compliance with established standard building, fire and/or zoning codes and regulations. Incumbents possess a broad background in general construction practices that provides solid knowledge of inspecting structures, reviewing plans, and interpreting various forms of site documentation, i.e., architectural drawings, maps, schematics, engineering designs.
