- One (1) Plans Examiner license issued by the Department of Business and Professional Regulations and two (2) or more Plans Examiner or Building Inspector licenses issued by the Department of Business and Professional Regulations, any discipline the area of which is determined by business need Preferred Qualifications Current State of Florida Mechanical Inspector, Mechanical Plans Examiner, Plumbing Inspector, or Plumbing Plans Examiner certification; or equivalent ICC certification with the ability to obtain Florida certification through reciprocity preferred.
