Target Home Inspections, one of Florida's leading home inspection companies, is expanding into the Ocala and surrounding areas and is looking for a licensed Home Inspector to join our team as a 1099 Independent Contractor. We are looking for a dependable, professional inspector who wants the flexibility of independent contractor work while benefiting from the inspection volume, systems, support, and reputation of an established inspection company. What You'll Do Perform residential inspections throughout Ocala and surrounding areas, including: Full Home Inspections 4-Point Inspections Wind Mitigation Inspections Reinspections Additional residential inspection services as needed Inspections and reports will be completed using Target Home Inspections' reporting standards and software. Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position with compensation based on the inspections performed.

Compensation is expected to include:

Flat-rate compensation for insurance inspections, including 4-Point and Wind Mitigation inspections Percentage-based compensation for Full Home Inspections Additional compensation opportunities based on inspection type and services performed Potential annual earnings of approximately $50,000-$75,000+, depending on availability, inspection volume, services performed, and experience Gas/travel stipend may be provided based on service area and inspection volume Final compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process. What Target Provides Target Home Inspections will provide: Inspection opportunities and scheduling support Access to and payment for our inspection/reporting software Training on Target's reporting procedures, standards, and expectations Administrative and office support Established company branding and client base Contractor Requirements The inspector will be responsible for providing and maintaining: Personal vehicle and valid driver's license Inspection tools and equipment Ladders and other necessary field equipment Required insurance, including appropriate General Liability and/or Errors & Omissions coverage Active Florida Home Inspector License Experience & Qualifications Previous home inspection experience is preferred, but we are willing to work with the right licensed inspector who is professional, dependable, willing to learn, and capable of meeting our quality standards. Applicants must already hold an active Florida Home Inspector License. We're looking for someone who: Communicates professionally with clients, agents, and our office Produces thorough, accurate inspection reports Is dependable and organized Is comfortable working independently in the field Can manage a flexible schedule Is interested in consistent inspection opportunities and building a long-term relationship with Target Home Inspections Schedule This position offers flexibility based on the contractor's availability. However, we are especially interested in inspectors who can provide consistent weekday availability and take on a steady inspection volume. Inspection volume will depend on contractor availability, market demand, service area, and scheduling needs.
