Full Job Description On-Site Field Representative Overview:
We are seeking an experience person to serve as an On-Site Field Representative. Interested candidates should be a Self-motivated individual that is familiar with all aspects of construction. Time management skills are needed to meet construction deadlines. Must have general understanding of the project delivery process, construction practices and interactions between disciplines within the project teams. Interact professionally with Contractor's and Owner's personnel. Technical skills to interpret construction methods, contracts and drawings of the project. Perform quality assurance inspections. Prepare documentation of all project related activities. Oversee project closeout and delivery.
Other Duties Include:
1. Familiarity with the project scope and permit documents. 2. Confirm perimeter barricades are per approved Maintenance of Traffic Plan (MOT). 3. Confirm that contractor is following up with local bad weather reports. 4. Be familiar with the project's Hurricane and Safety Plan. 5. Confirm that there is no loose material (paper) nor sand sandbags on the premises. 6. Verify that project personnel are wearing the proper identification, visible and above the waist. 7. Address any and all project delays, their cause and duration. 8. Perform field observations with respect to amount of work performed and with compliance with construction documents and shop drawings. 9. Address issues as required in coordination with the Contractor and Architect's Project Manager. Prepare, file and distribute daily field reports with photographs. 10. When applicable, prepare, file and distribute Non-Conformance Report, associated photographs along with the daily field report. 11. Follow-up on corrections of non-conformity items. 12. Daily coordination and communication with the main office. 13. Coordinate with Owner's Project Manager, Consultants, Maintenance, Risk, and Security staff. 14. Attend Pre-Construction conferences and project progress meetings. 15. Attend Contractor & Owner meetings. 16. Track Construction Supplemental Instructions (CSIs) and Request for Information (RFIs). 17. Track project Submittals.
Requirements and Skills:
Schedule:
8-hr. shift (Night and weekend work may be required).
Experience:
5-years minimum experience in the construction administration of medium to large aviation projects
Education:
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or related field.
Skills:
Good knowledge of MS Windows, Procore, Prolog. Must have the ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written. Must be able to read architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. General understanding of the project delivery process and construction practices
License/Certification:
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must have a valid Passport or Naturalization Certificate.
OSHA 10-HR
safety course. 30-HR safety course preferred.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to climb ladders.
Special Requirements:
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.
