Backgrounds in engineering, architecture, or construction (contracting, project management, skilled trades, etc.) are a strong plus, we welcome applicants from a wide range of career paths who bring strong attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to learn technical trade. Attend pre-installation kickoff meetings and inspection walkthroughs alongside senior inspectors and project managers. Document field conditions, deficiencies, and inspection findings in daily logs and reports. Help track outstanding items through Summary and Completion Lists as installation phases progress. Support inspections related to glazing, waterproofing, roofing, and railing systems, learning the technical standards for each as training progresses. Training & Growth New inspectors complete a three-month, hands-on training program that covers construction fundamentals, how to read architectural and structural drawings and specifications, inspection procedures and reporting, and the technical details of glazing, waterproofing, and related building envelope systems.
