Oasis Vacation Rentals | Key Largo & Upper Florida Keys Full-Time | $22-$26/hour, depending on experience

ABOUT THE ROLE

Oasis Vacation Rentals is a locally owned and growing vacation rental management company serving the Upper Florida Keys. We're looking for a reliable, highly detail-oriented Property Inspector & Field Operations team member to be our eyes and ears in the field. This is not a traditional housekeeping position. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring our vacation rental properties are truly guest-ready and identifying problems before our guests do . You'll spend much of your day traveling between our properties, inspecting completed cleans, checking property condition and inventory, identifying maintenance issues, restocking supplies, and helping our operations team keep everything running smoothly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Inspect vacation rentals after housekeeping and before guest arrivals Ensure properties meet Oasis cleanliness and presentation standards Identify housekeeping deficiencies and communicate necessary corrections Perform routine property walk-throughs to identify damage, wear and preventative maintenance needs Photograph and document property issues Check lights, fixtures, appliances, AC vents and other basic property items Identify leaks, moisture, damage or maintenance concerns Monitor linens, kitchen items, guest supplies and property inventory Complete rotating inventory checks and property checklists Track missing, damaged or worn items Restock and distribute supplies as needed Keep company supplies and the company vehicle organized Assist with deliveries and supply runs Handle minor property tasks and simple fixes when appropriate Assist with occasional guest-related field needs Communicate clearly with housekeeping, maintenance vendors and the Oasis operations team Follow through on identified issues to ensure they are resolved

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The most important qualities for this position are reliability, attention to detail and initiative. We're looking for someone who walks into a property and notices the things other people miss—a stained towel, a light that's out, a missing kitchen item, furniture that's been moved, an AC vent that needs attention, or a bathroom that wasn't properly cleaned.

The right person should be:

Extremely reliable and punctual Highly observant and detail-oriented Organized and able to follow detailed checklists Comfortable working independently and managing their daily workload Proactive and willing to solve small problems rather than simply report them Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, checklists and team communication Professional when interacting with guests, housekeepers, vendors and property owners Comfortable performing basic physical tasks associated with property inspections Able to lift approximately 30 lbs. Comfortable driving throughout Key Largo and the Upper Florida Keys Vacation rental, hotel, housekeeping, property management or maintenance experience is helpful, but reliability, judgment and attention to detail are more important to us than a specific background. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Valid driver's license and safe driving record Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to drive an Oasis company vehicle during assigned work duties Successful completion of a background check Driving record check required due to use of a company vehicle Smartphone and comfort using mobile apps Weekend and holiday availability as required by the vacation rental schedule Ability to remain available for the entirety of scheduled shifts unless otherwise approved

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time, in-person field position based in the Upper Florida Keys. Vacation rentals operate seven days a week, and weekends and holidays are some of our busiest turnover periods. Weekend availability is required. Specific scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.

COMPENSATION

$22-$26 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Company vehicle provided for assigned work duties.
