The Electrical QA/QC Inspector role provides quality inspections regarding electrical certifications and required electrical permits and status of the project.
Essential Duties:
Interpret and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements. Maintains quality control procedures for each stage of the manufacturing and/or installation process and conducts regular inspections, audits, and evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Knowledge of PFD s, P&ID s, Isometrics and Loop Diagrams Collects data for identifying trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement Maintains accurate records and ensures documentation is complete, organized, and accessible for audits Performs improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, and reduce defects Works closely with team members to address quality issues, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Monitors customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implements corrective actions Collaborates with team members to address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction Identifies potential risks to product quality and mitigates risk through collaborative problem solving and contingency plans Participates in quality control meetings with project team and/or customer Maintains Quality and Commissioning Schedules on the jobsite Communicates and manages open observations with installation teams.
Qualifications:
Four (4) years of formal training and experience in heavy industrial projects such as refineries, petro- chemical complexes, power plants, etc. State Electrical Journeyman License NCCER Industrial Electrician certification (prefer both knowledge and performance verification) Experience in understanding ITPs, WPSs, PQRs, and WPQs Ability to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors and craft employees. Must be capable of obtaining or possess inspection licenses and/or certifications as required. Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions as required by client and/or facility policy Must be able to communicate and document via company web mail programs Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.
Physical/Site Requirements:
Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds. Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age. Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
