Description:
Seres Engineering & Services is recruiting for the contract salaried positions of Quality Assurance Representative, reporting in person to Fort Benning, GA typically Monday through Friday 0730-1600 excluding Federal Holidays, or potential same day travel to Camp Merril and Camp Rudder. Successful candidates will support Fort Benning Directorate of Public Works, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Division by independently surveilling and inspecting approximately four service contracts performing at Fort Benning, GA. O&M service contracts may include, but are not limited to, landscaping, pest control, HVAC O&M, refuse collection, road/trail grading, and other base operation service contracts.
Requirements:
Review drawings and submittals to provide recommendations; enforce environmental requirements; inspect invoices for accuracy and compliance; prepare monthly status reports; conduct on-site inspections and safety assessments; communicate in a professional manner briefing leadership and stakeholders on project status; provide key value addition to project delivery team executing Fort Bennings Sustainment and Construction Program. Must be able to satisfy background clearance for access requirements at Fort Benning, GA and Camp Rudder, FL and Camp Merril, GA. Must have a valid state driver's license. Must be able to traverse construction sites unassisted and access areas of construction to perform inspections of the work (e.g., barracks, mechanical rooms, roof areas, uneven terrain, unpaved surfaces). Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to communicate appropriately and professionally via email. Must have a high school diploma, minimum, plus 10 years of applicable professional experience that includes managing major operations, commercial repair/construction, or industrial repair/construction projects. Must have specialized experience in installation and inspection of either civil, HVAC, or building construction and demonstrate the ability to make determinations and findings for assigned oversight tasks. Preferred, experience working on military installations. Extra consideration will be given to candidates with experience working on Army controlled facilities. Preferred, DPW of USACE project support experience. Preferred, experience and familiarity working with Fort Benning, Camp Rudder, or Camp Merrill.
