at Department of Transportation in Collinsville, Illinois, United States Job Description Essential Functions Provides accurate and efficient measurements and construction staking as a member of the survey crew. Keeps accurate and legible records of inspection field measurements and documentation of contracts. Keeps the Resident Engineer informed on the status of and problems with contractor’s work. Maintains records as directed by the Resident Engineer. Performs duties in compliance with departmental safety rules. Performs all duties in a manner conducive to the fair and equitable treatment of all employees. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Completion of two years of college in civil engineering technology, pre-engineering, or a job related technical/science curriculum OR two years of engineering experience. Conditions of Employment Valid driver’s license. Travel. Successful completion of a background screening.
