Job Description

Electrical Quality Control Inspector Direct hire | Full-time | $70,000-$100,000 annually
Location:
Westwood, KS 66205 | Work arrangement: On-site, primarily field/job-site based MOHR Talent is recruiting an Electrical Quality Control Inspector for mission-critical construction projects, including data centers and other high-performance facilities. This is a hands-on field position focused on identifying installation problems before testing, energization and turnover. What You Will Do Inspect electrical installations during active construction. Compare field work with drawings, specifications and approved submittals. Verify compliance with the National Electrical Code and project requirements. Inspect conduit, cable tray, feeders, terminations, grounding, panels, transformers, switchgear and motor control centers. Document deficiencies and coordinate corrections with field teams. Review continuity testing and other electrical test results. Maintain inspection reports, checklists and corrective-action records. Support pre-energization inspections, punch lists and system turnover. What You Need 3+ years of electrical construction experience. Knowledge of electrical installation practices and NEC requirements. Ability to read electrical plans, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams and schematics. Ability to review testing procedures and interpret results. Ability to work regularly on active construction sites. Previous QA/QC, commissioning, mission-critical or data center experience is preferred but not required.
