The Resident Project Representative is responsible for reviewing construction plans and specifications and providing full-time on-site construction observation services for the firm's water and wastewater construction projects in an effort to provide further protection to our clients that the project is being constructed in general conformance with the plans and specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree (or higher) or Certification/Licensing in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology or a related field, four or more years of direct experience in observation, design, or construction experience Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, county and local codes The ability to read, understand, and apply code requirements as they apply to construction situations The ability to clearly, accurately, and completely document the completed work, including tracking pay item quantities, as well as identifying defective work The ability to work under little or no regular supervision The ability to maintain an effective working relationship with builders, contractors, consultants, fellow employees, other departments, and the general public Excellent oral and written English communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with team members and other disciplines High level of organizational & time management skills and attention to detail Must be able to meet deadlines in a demanding environment Excellent computer skills desired GRW is looking for individuals eager to develop their technical skills and work on teams with other dedicated employees to complete the projects our clients need.
