Electric Distribution Field Inspector Location:

London or Somerset Key Responsibilities:

Perform visible field inspections to ensure contractor compliance with safety standards, project design specifications, and contract requirements. Monitor construction activities and provide real-time quality assurance for work performed on the electric distribution system.

Support field services such as:

Electrical system inventories and audits Joint use permitting and management Pad-mount and ground-line pole inspections Metering and apparatus services Lighting system audits Identify potential project risks including design discrepancies, material shortages, contractor performance concerns, access limitations, and customer conflicts. Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to resolve field issues and maintain project timelines.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electric utility construction, inspection, or maintenance. Strong knowledge of electric distribution systems or 3rd party work. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in varying field conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
