  • Responsibilities
  • + Lead the development and execution of the
  • Project Quality Plan (PQP)
  • in alignment with USACE and DOTD standards.
+ Oversee quality control and assurance activities across all phases of construction, including site development, wharves, and ramps. + Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, specifications, and contract requirements. + Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews of construction activities and documentation. + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. + Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. + Serve as the liaison with third-party inspectors, regulatory agencies, and client representatives. + Mentor and train project staff on quality procedures and continuous improvement practices. + Promote a culture of "doing it right the first time" across all project teams.
  • Qualifications
  • + •Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana•- active and in good standing, or the ability to transfer a license from another state.
+ Minimum
  • 10 years of experience
  • in construction quality management, preferably on large-scale civil infrastructure projects. + Strong knowledge of
  • USACE standards
  • , •DOTD inspection protocols•, and •NEPA compliance•.
+ Proven leadership in managing quality programs for complex construction projects. + Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in quality management systems and software tools. + Experience with
  • dam embankment
  • , •marine terminal•, or •heavy civil construction•projects.
+ Familiarity with
  • federal permitting processes
  • and
  • environmental review procedures
•. + Prior work with similar large-scale infrastructure contractors.
