Leading Regional Professional Engineering Firm seeks an experienced Construction Inspector in Lake Charles for our transportation construction projects with a focus on structural concrete and embankment work. Position Overview As our Construction Inspector, it is your responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and documenting transportation construction projects to ensure compliance with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) specifications, standards, and contract requirements. This role is integral in ensuring that our construction projects meet state and federal standards. Requirements:

Position Requirements Must hold at least one LADOTD Certification in transportation construction with preference being in embankment, concrete, or asphalt HS diploma, advanced education preferred A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction inspection Strong understanding of all applicable codes Proficient in reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings, construction specifications and LADOTD standards Valid DL and ability to work in varying site conditions and weather
