API 510/570

Inspector to perform mechanical integrity inspections on offshore facilities. The API Inspector will report to the Mechanical Integrity Engineer and review inspection data for pipelines, process piping, pressure vessels, and tanks to ensure equipment remains compliant with applicable design and inspection codes and standards. This position requires travel to client sites, manufacturing facilities, and offshore locations. Travel will be primarily domestic, with potential for occasional international travel. Responsibilities Perform internal and external inspections of fixed equipment to determine compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Conduct scheduled inspections of pipelines, process piping, pressure vessels, tanks, and other mechanical equipment. Perform API 510 and API 570 inspections on offshore facilities. Review and interpret applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards. Evaluate inspection findings and recommend appropriate repairs or corrective actions. Approve repairs when qualified and perform visual inspections of completed repair work. Review equipment inspection data and maintain accurate mechanical integrity records. Prepare and submit detailed daily, inspection, and shutdown reports. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other standard computer software for reporting and communication. Maintain organized inspection files and documentation. Understand equipment leak regulations applicable to specific locations and customers. Work safely in environments that may involve H₂S exposure and confined spaces. Maintain professional relationships with clients, facility personnel, customers, and coworkers. Travel as required to support inspection and project needs. Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational objectives. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience performing mechanical equipment inspection activities. Current API 510 certification required. Current API 570 certification required. Extensive knowledge of applicable AWS, ASME, and API standards, particularly API 510 and API 570. Working knowledge of NDE/NDT methodologies is a plus. Ability to interpret and apply applicable inspection codes, regulations, and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate inspection documentation. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must successfully complete an OII-administered Respiratory Fit Test for work in H₂S environments and confined spaces. Candidates must be clean-shaven prior to respiratory fit testing to ensure proper mask seal and compliance. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or

certification. STI Tank certification. Additional NDE/NDT certifications or experience. Previous offshore inspection experience. Experience with pressure vessels, piping systems, tanks, and mechanical integrity programs.
