Urban Engineers, Inc. is hiring a Senior Inspector (50977) in Columbia, MD. This is a full-time position, and paying $28.10-$41.00/year.
Job Summary:
The Construction Inspector will be responsible for the supervision of bridge and roadway construction projects. The successful candidate will manage overall contractor performance to ensure a quality product and maintain designated budget while meeting contract deadlines. He or she will be accountable for submittal reviews and document control.Inspector Responsibilities:
Monitor adherence to contract documents Implement quality control procedures Prepare Inspector Daily Reports Perform construction inspection tasks for items including: Structural steel Concrete Masonry Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Fire protection Architectural elementsJob Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering preferred Minimum 5 years' experience Preferred certifications include: Concrete Field Soils and Aggregates Hot Mix Asphalt Work Zone Safety OSHA 10 Erosion and Sediment Control Strong written and oral communication skills Valid Driver's License Benefits of working atUrban:
