    What You Will DoThe Engineering Associate plays an important role in providing support to all areas of the Engineering Division. Your day-to-day will include the opportunity to participate in both office and field work. Working under the direction of Engineering Division leadership, you will participate in field assessments and investigations, complete daily inspection reports, and assist with various engineering surveys.



    Essential Duties

    • Assist with the inspection of roads, bridges, and storm drain systems. Document progress, complete daily reports, and compile composite reports.
    • Monitor temporary traffic control for compliance.
    • Participate in field investigations and assessments of County's culvert system, roadways, bridges, signage, pavement markings, and traffic barriers.
    • Prepare worktables, charts and drawings for paving and pipe replacement contracts.
    • Assist with the completion of GIS/GPS, topographic and engineering surveys.
    • Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
    • Demonstrate an ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.
