In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative, field-focused group supporting transportation, bridge, utility, and municipal construction projects across the region. Responsibilities Responsible for the construction inspection of bridge and/or highway construction projects. Measure and calculate quantities, and document work with daily work reports, photos, and sketches. Oversee and coordinate documentation of construction inspection. Ensures work is completed in accordance with standard specifications. Apply project plans, along with company policies, guidelines, standards, specifications to the work and make decisions. Maintain project documentation and communicate with individuals at all levels of the project. Coordinate activities on the project site and resolve problems related to the work. Qualifications High school diploma/GED required. 1+ years of construction engineering/inspection experience required. ACI and/or NETTCP paving certifications required. 10-hour OSHA certification required. Knowledge in federally aided transportation projects as a construction inspector. Experience working with/for MaineDOT and/or municipal clients preferred. Valid US driver's license required. Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with others. Strong mathematics skills and attention to detail. Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation:
