About this position:
Civil Superintendent Location- Papillion, NE The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.
- writing/reviewing/submitting
- documents for Government approval. Ensure regulatory compliance at the jobsite level Perform Site Orientation training for staff. Maintain a safe work area. Manage field support staff Communicate and work with the Administrative Support staff
- Project Manager, Construction Manager, Cost Accountant.
Qualifications Education Requirements:
High School or GED Level of Experience Requirements:
10+ years of demonstratable experience on levee or bank restoration projects for USACE. 5+ years of demonstratable experience as a SSHO (or alternate) on USACE projects. Has completed the 30-hour OSHA Construction/General Industry Safety Course.EM385 1-1
40-hour Certification (can be ongoing) Has completed a 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Course. Has current First Aid/ CPR training. Demonstratable experience in reading, interpretating, implementing specifications (contract, ASTMs, etc). Has completed college level course work in construction management or civil/environmental engineering. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Possess a valid driver license and clean driving record. Computer skills/software- Microsoft Office, Scheduling Software, CAD Software Ability to complete and file paperwork in an organized and legible form.
