Job Description
To provide support for Construction Management and Related Services. The services include, but are not limited to, Construction Management (CM) services. The CM Services contractor shall have the capability of providing a comprehensive program of Project Engineering, Planning, Scheduling, Design reviews and Value Management Assessments, Safety Compliance Reviews, Monitoring and Testing Compliance, Record Keeping, Cost Estimating /Budget Control, and Change Management Documentation Management. Additionally, the CM Services contractor shall have the capability to perform Constructability Reviews, Quality Assurance Monitoring, monitoring a contractor's adherence to standards in order to meet the specifications and to avoid deficiencies in the work. Other requirements include the level of work performed daily, performing weekly and monthly reviews and reports; change order proposal reviews and schedule development adherence; recommendations pertaining to the integrated master schedules (IMS), written and oral communications and coordination efforts as required. The required support needed as a second shift (roughly 4:00PM-11:00 PM) for the Electronic Healthcare Records Management upgrades at the John Cochran Veteran Affairs Medical Center Requirements Shall have a BS degree or fifteen (15) years of directly related experience. Professional experience shall include the ability to read and interpret construction documents, as well as communicate effectively with project construction team members. Experience on healthcare projects/facilities shall be preferred. Shall maintain daily progress reports and inspection reports and shall lead the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight. Physical Requirements - Candidates must be able to work on active construction job sites, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 30 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and traversing uneven or unimproved terrain. Must be A US Citizen Computer Skills Candidates must be proficient with standard business computer systems, including comfort navigating Microsoft Windows operating systems and email platforms such as Outlook.
