Licensed Home Inspector - Central New Jersey Pillar To Post Home Inspectors is looking for a motivated, professional NJ Licensed Home Inspector to join our growing team serving Central New Jersey. Our inspectors are supported by an experienced team that handles scheduling and client coordination, allowing the inspector to focus on performing quality inspections and providing a great customer experience. The inspector joining our team will receive training on our inspection reporting software as well as hands-on, field training alongside the owner. The length and extent of the training will be tailored to the individual based on previous experience, technical knowledge, and readiness to perform inspections independently. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our team and build a long-term career with Pillar To Post. Job Requirements Active New Jersey Home Inspector License - Required Previous home inspection experience preferred (1-5 years) NJ Radon Measurement Technician license is a plus; if not currently licensed, the selected candidate will be required to obtain the appropriate radon license/certification after hire Strong knowledge of residential home systems and components with excellent attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and professionally explain inspection findings to clients Strong customer service and interpersonal skills when working with clients, real estate professionals, and other industry professionals Dependable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and inspection/reporting software Professional appearance and demeanor; company logo shirts provided Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance Physically able to perform home inspections in various weather conditions, including climbing ladders, accessing attics and crawl spaces, walking roofs when conditions permit, and standing for extended periods Available to work some Saturdays Ability to successfully complete required background and driving record checks Compensation Expected annual earnings: $50,000-$70,000 , based on experience, qualifications, and licensing. Compensation structure may vary based on the selected candidate and may include performance-based compensation or a salary with potential bonus opportunities. Specific compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
